Beatriz Rodríguez Lominchar began playing the violin at the age of four with Regina Huxley and Mª Jesús Cano. Later she entered into Joaquín Turina Professional Conservatory (Madrid) with Carlos López as a violin teacher and Roberto Mendoza as chamber music teacher. Here she finished the Proffesional Degree in 2016 obtaining honors in chamber music and Extraordinary Prize of the Professional Degree.

She has received master classes from Shirly Laub, Karolina Michalska, Aitor Hevia, Santiago de la Riva, and Giuliano Carmignola, among others.

She is member of the JORCAM (Youth Orchestra of the Community of Madrid) since 2015.

She is currently studying at CSMA (“Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón”) with Pablo Suárez Calero, and receives chamber music lessons with the Quiroga Quartet.

More about Mateu

Rut was born in Igualada (Barcelona) in 1998 and started playing cello when she was three with Ana Toca using the Suzuki method. From 2010 to 2013 she studied with Amat Santacana and then she was accepted at the Oriol Martorell Artistic High School, where she finished her secondary education with Joan Antoni Pich as cello professor.

She is in second year of Music Bachelor in the Conservatory of Aragon (CSMA) with professor Fernando Arias.

She has taken lessons from Lluís Claret, María de Macedo, Damien Ventula, Anna Mora, Paul Katz, Asier Polo, David Apellániz, María Casado, Iván Siso, Maximilian Hornung, Stefan Faludi, Arnau Tomàs, Xavier Gagnepain, Erika Wise, Laia Puig and Beatriz Blanco.

She took part in most of the Suzuki meetings held in Catalonia between 2000 and 2010, in the 2009 Suzuki Summer Course in Bryanston (UK), in the 2010 Arcos Chamber Music Summer Course in Ávila (Spain), in four editions of the Q4 Stage Chamber Music Summer Course organized by Qvixote Quartet –where she won the 2016 competition with her Lux Quartet–, in the 2016 Forum Musikae Summer Course in Madrid and in the 2017 Santa María del Paular Summer Course in Rascafría (Spain).

She was first cello of the Vallès Symphony Youth Orchestra (JOSV) and of the youngest group of the Catalan National Youth Orchestra (JONC) and is now a member of the oldest group of the same orchestra, where she has worked with members of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and of BandArt.
